Abstract

The flow of a rheologically simple fluid between parallel stationary disks, due to uniform suction, is considered. By considering successive approximations up to third order, the expressions for the streamlines velocity components, pressure are obtained and the effects of the consideration of the elasticity of the fluid are pointed out.
