Abstract

We report the discovery of four faint quasars with redshifts between 4.1 and 4.6. Three of the quasars were found in a multicolor survey; the other was first detected in a grism survey. The quasars have apparent magnitudes that range from 20.8<r<22.0; the quasars are among the least luminous known at these redshifts. One of the quasars, PC 0027+0521, is located only 318″ from the z=4.21 quasar PC 0027+0525.
