Abstract
Capstone design courses deserve importance as they attempt to gain the academic experience and prepare students to become the future of the profession. The educational framework developed in this course consists of three elements such as the e-Studio Web site, capstone Project Electronic Portfolios, and the e-studio Practitioner Mentorship program. Engineering educators should adopt the best practices of electronic learning and incorporate them into capstone design courses, in order to address the need for new Internet and electronic communication skill sets. The students are encouraged to use software to create custom electronic portfolios. The results of the study is an enhanced and more relevant educational experience for each student, giving them an opportunity to fully integrate their knowledge into capstone design programs.
