    Abstract

Algorithms for frequency domain optimization of the multistage separable FIR filter were presented in part I. As stated there, the major attribute of this two-dimensional digital filter structure is that it lends itself easily to parallel processing, giving this filter structure a very high throughput rate. Those optimization algorithms were implemented in software, and the results are presented here.
