Abstract
Photorefractive polymers containing transition metal porphyrin or phthalocyanine complexes were prepared by Heck polycondensation. The structural effects of these macrocyclic complexes on the photorefractive performance were studied. It was found that the polymers containing Zn complexes exhibit much larger photogeneration quantum yields and optical gains than those containing Cu.
