Abstract

Even if it occurs in a patient with normal host defenses, sinusitis unresponsive to usual conservative therapy may be due to Aspergillus. Surgical drainage is necessary for diagnosis and is usually curadve, as in our patient. Occasionally, Aspergillus sinusitis will be associated with tissue invasion and require antifungal chemotherapy.
