Abstract
A double bond migration driven by the high strain energy of endocyclic methylenecyclopropane-containing fused bicyclic systems is proposed to explain the formation of azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexanes from the intramolecular addition of alkylidene carbenes to alkenes.
