Abstract
Mini-transplant has developed very rapidly in a shot period of time. In order to solve some basic questions, prospective studies such as comparison of mini-transplant and conventional, non-transplant treatment in elderly, as well as comparison of mini-transplant with conventional transplant in younger population are necessary in the near future. In addition, studies to figure out the most suitable conditioning regimen for each disease are also needed. Together with the development into new directions such as treatment of benign diseases or utilization of other stem cell sources such as cord blood or mismatched related donors, mini-transplant will become more useful tool for physicians and patients in the future.
