Abstract

The experimental data on deep inelastic ep scattering at low x is presented. The data indicates that the total cross section σ_τ p(x,Q²) is the function of only one dimensionless variable τ = Q²R²₀(x). This regularity is shown to hold over the very broad range of Q².
