Abstract
Environmental cleanup and the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (Superfund) in the USA are described. Waste sites qualifying for superfund money are outlined. Treatment technologies for use in treating hazardous wastes are discussed. The design, operation and performance of physical separation methods are described. Work being carried out on waste treatment and disposal in the Mineral Processing Section of Penn State is outlined -P.M.Taylor
