Abstract

We report highly-nonlinear metasurfaces based on coupling of electromagneticallyengineered plasmonic nanoresonators with quantum-engineered intersubband nonlinearities. Experimentally, effective nonlinear susceptibility over 50 nm/V was measured for secondharmonic generation under normal incidence.
