Height increments in prepubertal children

Abstract

The heights of 51 normal boys and girls were measured at regular intervals throughout a year. The data were analyzed to determine in the normally growing child, the shortest time interval regardless of the time of year during which an increase in height should be expected to be recognized in every child. That interval is 16 weeks.
