Abstract

Process monitoring of dynamic transitions in complex systems is more concerned with aperiodic recurrences and heterogeneous recurrence variations. However, traditional recurrence methods treat recurrence states homogeneously. This paper presents a new approach of heterogeneous recurrence analysis for process monitoring and control. Experimental results show that the proposed methodology effectively monitors the changes in the dynamics of complex systems.
