Abstract

Reaction of hexa-1,5-diyn-3-ol ether derivatives with bistrimethylsilylacetylene in the presence of catalytic amounts of [CpCo(CO)₂] (Cp = cyclopentadienyl) gives 2,3,6,7- tetrakistrimethylsily Inaphthalene.
