Abstract

The hopping conduction in Mn-doped ZnO were studied and verified by analyzing dc and ac conductivity data. It was found that hopping conduction becomes the dominant conduction mechanism in the low temperature range between 10 and 18 K. The activation energy and pre-exponential coefficient for the dc hopping conductivity decreases and the power for ac conductivity increases with increasing the Mn content.
