Abstract

Previous research has argued and tested the virtue of high-technology companies encouraging their research scientists to publish, i.e., adopting a policy of openness. The purpose of this current paper is to offer a conceptual management control framework and a number of corresponding prescriptive techniques by which a firm may successfully implement an effective strategy.
