Abstract

A study was undertaken to find out the incidence of Campylobacter jejuni in raw and pasteurized milk samples in and around Gannaaram area of Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. A total of 24 isolates of Campylobacter jejuni were obtained, antibiotic sensitivity and Biotyping of the isolates performed. Public health importance and the possible source of Campylobacter jejuni in milk were discussed.
