Abstract
Indium mediated allylation of β-chloro- or β-alkoxy vinylaldehydes in the presence of sodium iodide produce homoallylic alcohol derivatives (1-chloro-/1-alkoxy hexa-1,5-diene-3-ol derivatives) in good yields.
