Abstract
The issues of information quality control in a network centric equipment health monitoring and maintenance planning enterprise are explored. The objectives are operational damage mitigation and dynamic maintenance scheduling over a ubiquitous information infrastructure. An intelligent multiuser mechanism called an Information Broker is formulated and prototyped for context dependent time critical manipulation of dispersed and transient maintenance data embedded in autonomous systems where semantic heterogeneity is the norm.
