Abstract
A factor in rat plasma that promotes the initiation of DNA synthesis in confluent 3T3 (mouse) fibroblast cells is shown to be distinct from the factor that promotes cellular multiplication. Treatment of rat plasma at acid pH allows for separation of these peptides by Sephadex gel filtration.
