Abstract

This paper describes the overall goals of IDSAF (Integrated Design System of Agricultural Facilities) and characteristics of each component. Basic concepts of IDSAF model offer a software platform for supporting engineering problems. For this purpose, this model proposes information management system to uniquely treat non-formalized information of agricultural planning and preliminary design. In the IDSAF, projects can be formulated and managed by components of object management system, visualization of design results, and planning system. Goals and Effective Benefits Unified information management techniques can be made reusable results of planning, analysis, and design from projects.
