Abstract
Utilizing expressive arts interventions within a feminist theoretical orientation may prove impactful for adolescent clients. Tenets of feminist therapy and support for integrating expressive arts interventions into counseling practice are presented. Assumptions and objectives for utilizing expressive arts interventions with adolescents in feminist therapy are offered. Two feminist theory ecological models of identity development are described, with corresponding expressive arts interventions to address adolescent identity development.
