Abstract
Implementation, modelling, and verification of the interface model described in part I of this paper are discussed in this part. A number of realistic examples are studied by using a combined finite difference-finite element approach with substructuring. The behavior of interface and the effects of interface on box-type reinforced concrete structures are also discussed. The results obtained from the study are compared with the others and those adopted by the current design code.
