Abstract

We present a single-user sequential adaptive receiver (SAR) structure for interference suppression in asynchronous direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS-CDMA) communication systems. Computer simulations verify the faster convergence rate of the SAR for various configurations of the SAR. The SAR is especially applicable for adapting to the time-varying channel conditions found in typical cellular systems.
