Abstract
Multidomain structures with a tweed configuration were examined in [001]-poled rhombohedral phase PMN-32% PT single crystals. The presence of charged walls in the crystal systems were due to existence of large amount of charged defect, including aliovalent dopants and vacancies. The domain sizes, ranging from 1 to 2 μm, were found to be much smaller than the sample dimensions.
