Abstract
The electron transport properties of three-terminal carbon-nanotube junctions were investigated by using Landauer theory of quantum conductance. The transmission of electrons through the interface was hindered for positive energy values which lead to a drastic reduction of the conductance. The results showed that the carbon-nanotube-terminated junction does not displayed an asymmetric conductance spectrum but behaved as a junction between undoped semiconductors.
