She has served as Vice-President for Ferroelectrics of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society (UFFC), and was an elected member of that group{\textquoteright}s administrative committee. She is currently the President of the IEEE UFFC. Over the past several years, she has served as an organizer for the Fall 2003 MRS meeting and the US-Japan Seminar on Dielectric and Piezoelectric Ceramics.
