Abstract
The choice between noninvasive techniques and invasive electrophysiologic testing must be highly individualized, particularly in patients with serious ventricular arrhythmias. The decision may well hinge on which pharmacologic or nonpharmacologic therapies are being considered. Invasive techniques in less serious rhythm disturbances should still be considered experimental.
