Abstract
Contains over 30 snow cover and sea ice data sets from many parts of the world and are grouped according to scale - global, hemispheric and regional. The contributions follow a similar form of presentation, all having been obtained from a questionnaire dealing with the space and time coverage of data, the consistency and internal homogeneity of the various sources and products, and the format and availability of data. -Philip Harris
