Abstract
In this paper we report piezoelectric properties of modified lead barium nitrate (PBN) with addition of zirconium and bismuth. These are compared with piezoelectric values of modified lead metaniobate marketed by major companies. Some modified lead barium lanthanum niobates exhibited a d33 constants as high as 300pc/N.
