Abstract

A total of 104 patients with Darier's disease were treated with 13-cis-retinoic acid (isotretinoin) at nineteen medical centers. Clinical evaluation by both physicians and patients indicated that the drug is very effective in alleviating Darier's disease but does not produce prolonged remissions.
