Abstract
The use of artificial intelligence techniques that are applicable to GIS are examined. Questions involving the performance and modification to the database structure, the definition of spectra in quadtree structures and their use in search heuristics, extension of the knowledge base, and learning algorithm concepts are investigated.-from STAR, 22(21), 1984
