Abstract

The design considerations for laser-cooled microgravity clocks highlighting the considerations that differ from those for earth-based fountains are discussed. The relative merits of Rb and Cs microgravity clocks are detailed. Finally, tentative designs for 2 microgravity clocks that are scheduled to fly in the coming years are described.
