title = "Low-profile textile antenna with omni-directional radiation for wearable applications",
abstract = "A novel planar textile antenna with an omnidirectional radiation pattern is presented for wearable applications. The omnidirectional radiation is achieved by exciting four rotated open-ended slots with uniform amplitude and phase. The operating principles are explained with the help of equivalent circuit models and current distribution. The antenna is verified experimentally, showing good performance in terms of impedance bandwidth, omni-directional pattern, radiation efficiency and robustness to deformation and phantom loading.",
