Abstract
The magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) unsteady flow of an electrically conducting, incompressible viscous material flowing between two parallel infinite porous planes is studied. The slip between the plates and the material is also taken into account. The flow is produced by moving one of the boundaries and/or due to the constant pressure gradient. An external magnetic field normal to the plates is applied. The exact solutions of three boundary value problems are presented. The effects of appropriate dimensionless parameters on velocity distribution are presented.
