Abstract
Currently, the WateReuse Association estimates that there will be a growth of 15% per year within water reuse. A focus on the methods that involves water applications to soil systems is given. Sustainability is also given an emphasis regarding reuse operations which include impacts on soils and on water supplies where the main concern is on the health and safety of the environment. The process of reusing water are faced with many technical, environmental, and social challenges. There are four major issues that needs to be addressed. These are: to meet water quantity and quality requirements; health protection; to maintain soil productivity; and finally, the public acceptance.
