Abstract

Chocolate is a favorite treat for many people because of its sweet taste and smooth texture. Every year, chocolate manufacturers sell ~$13 billion worth of chocolate products in the United States, only accounting for the eighth largest consumption of chocolate worldwide. ere are several larger known companies who play a role in creating this billion dollar industry, but most chocolate manufacturing is done by small or medium-sized operations.
