Abstract
Several neutral and fractionally charged scalar bosonic states in the Fritzsch-Mandelbaum composite model are examined. They are found to be similar to the lepto-quark gauge bosons and the neutral boson gauging B - L symmetry in the extended color group SU(4) of SO(10). Bounds on the mass of the charged bosons in both cases are derived by considering the decay K0L→μ+e-.
