Abstract
A mathematical model is proposed for the reduction of molecular nitrogen by Mg(OH)//2-V(OH)//2 under diffusion conditions at normal temperature and pressure. The rate constants have been estimated. For stepwise nitrogen reduction the rates of hydrazine and ammonia formation are 100 and 8 liter/mole multiplied by (times) sec, respectively.
