Measurement of blood flow over skin surface with a self-mixing laser interferometer

Abstract

Self-mixing laser diode speckle interferometry is investigated for non-invasive blood flow measurement. A comparison of the method with a commercially available Doppler flow measurement system is done to confirm its feasibility and efficiency.
