Abstract
A method for the measurement of longitudinal and flexural wave intensities is developed and conducted on a T-beam. In an intersecting beam, the longitudinal waves acted as the source which excites the flexural wave the flexural waves acted as the source which excites the longitudinal waves in a structure. A finite element analysis determined the structural vibration flow due to flexural and longitudinal vibrations coexisting in a beam.
