Abstract

The goal of this paper was to develop a viable measurement model by which to investigate communication behaviors in integrated project delivery (IPD) teams. Data from 202 team members dispersed across 21 IPD teams were collected, and two confirmatory factor analyses were performed. Results suggest the existence of four general communication behaviors that occur in IPD teams. The implications of these findings are discussed and directions for future research are offered.
