Abstract
Nonlinear optics commonly employs dielectric materials wherein the nunlinear polarization is mediated by the electric field. We show, by means of an example, that the nonlinear polarization can be mediated by the magnetic field also in particulate composites formed by mixing nonlinear dielectrics with isotropic chiral media at molecular-length scales.
