Abstract

We have newly synthesized Ca_2-xSr_xRuO₄ in the whole region of x: the two-dimensional Mott-transition system which continuously connects the Mott insulating Ca₂RuO₄ with the superconducting Sr₂RuO₄. The metal-insulator transition occurs in Ca rich region by varying either Sr content or temperature.
