Microbial fuel cells convert corn waste into electricity

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In a previous issue of Membrane Technology we provided details of a microbial fuel cell, developed by scientists at Pennsylvania State University, which can turn sewage into electricity. This brief feature looks at another system created by the researchers, which generates electricity from corn waste.
