Abstract

A velocity control system has been tested with computer simulations and implemented in the assembly language motor program. The controller sought to improve on past control designs with regard to accuracy of control, sensitivity to parameter changes, system stability, and size and speed of the algorithm. Mock loop data indicate that the controller performs well in the range of physical parameters.
