Abstract
Blends of poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) (EVA) with poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) have been studied rather extensively by a variety of techniques. The purpose of this paper is to explore the miscibility and phase behavior of EVA/PVC blends using dielectric relaxation techniques. Since the acetate and chlorine groups have strong dipole moments the EVA/PVC system is well suited to dielectric investigation.
