Abstract

Efficient solution of dense linear systems of equations arising in the method of moment (MoM) formulations is of considerable interest. A number of different techniques for speeding up the solution of linear systems of equations arising in the application of the Numerical Electromagnetic Code (NEC) is presented. These techniques either handle full matrix by using different algorithms, or precondition it to speed up the solution. They are not general-purpose and the choice of the algorithm is left to the user who selects the appropriate algorithm through new input NEC.
