Abstract

A 30-state nonlinear model for a two-dimensional flexible structure has been developed and tested by performing computer simulations. The method of Lagrangian mechanisms has been used to model the plant. Finite elements methods were used to describe the motion of the Euler-Bernoulli beam contained in the structure.
