Abstract
A model is developed for the pressure redistribution terms in the Reynolds stress equation. It is shown that, following some basic assumptions, the same general form of the model is obtained whether or not the turbulence is regarded as being homogeneous. The unknown coefficients in this model and those for models of previous investigators are evaluated on the basis of data from basic experiments.
